Photographic exhibition “Rethink Beato: from Italy to Burma (1832-1909)” in Yangon

The Italian Embassy in Yangon, in collaboration with the Myanmar Photo Archive, will inaugurate on Saturday 30 November 2024 the photographic exhibition ‘Rethink Beato: from Italy to Burma (1832-1909)’, which will trace the intriguing life and legacy of Felice Beato, the Italian-born photographer who captured the spirit of Myanmar while living in Mandalay from 1887 to 1905.
