On January 31st, Cooking Factory organises an event to celebrate Vietnamese TET with the presence of the Consul of Viet Nam and Myanmar

We attended the inauguration of the photo exhibition “Days in Burma” (Giorni in Birmania) by Andrea Daddi, curated by Togaci Gaudiano, at the Bagni Pubblici in Via Agliè in Turin. The exhibition will be open free of charge until 15 January 2025.

Present today at the event ‘ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK. Activities, procurement system and business opportunities for enterprises ‘ organised by CEIP. During the meeting, Keiko Koiso, Senior Procurement Specialist at ADB, discussed the opportunities for companies in Piedmont in the field of ADB procurement.

We attended FIND – Design Fair Asia (26-28 September) in Singapore with the Turin Chamber of Commerce, which presented the Piemonte Home Design project through the ‘Home Get-together’ exhibition.  

The Chamber supported the Forum Vietnam – Italy Coffee Industries organised with the support of the Turin Chamber of Commerce and the Vietnam Embassy in Italy. The Vietnamese delegation also had the opportunity to visit the Lavazza company.

The Chamber of Commerce supports the Turin Chamber of Commerce’s Savor Piemonte project by selecting and accompanying a Singaporean buyer to the Terra Madre fair (26-30 September) and company visits.    

The Indonesia – Italy Trade Investment Forum was organised on 19 September in Milan, on the occasion of the celebrations for the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Indonesia. Club Asia was present to support the network companies in their meetings with Indonesian companies.

The CIBUS trade fair in Parma was an excellent opportunity to support in-presence meetings between buyers and Piedmontese companies from the Turin Chamber of Commerce’s SAVOR PIEMONTE project.  

We attended the press conference that revealed the programme for FIND – Design Fair Asia, the design fair to be held in Singapore at the end of September. We look forward to seeing the results of the projects we are working on with our partners!

CLUB ASIA participated with its own desk and a speech at the third edition of the TOASEAN Business Days, an event dedicated to relations and exchanges between Italy and ASEAN, organised by the Turin Chamber of Commerce, the University of Turin (Department of Culture, Politics and Society) and T.wai – Torino World Affairs Institute.

The TOAsia Export Training Sardinia ended with the incoming in Sardinia of three trade operators from Singapore in order to meet the Sardinian excellencies of agrifood production.

On 5th April we had the pleasure to join  Malaysian Investment Development Autority  (MIDA) delegation in the company visit to Comau.

From 7th to 19th may, we arranged the mission to Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia, taking Comau and Plastitalia companies.

On 3rd and 4th March, 2022 the Chamber organised a mission to Sicily to promote the business opportunities in ASEAN. Among the meetings: one with the Mayor Leoluca Orlando and another with Nino Salerno, internationalisation delegate of Sicindustria.
